We decided to use Neoteric to create a website for us after lengthy discussions with one of their sales reps. We had very specific requirements so to give me further peace of mind they put me through to one of their technical staff too who seemingly understood everything I was asking for and gave me assurance that they could produce the site to my spec within approximately 6 weeks. We exchanged visual mockups of how it would look as well as features etc beforehand and I was advised that since everything is already down the initial stage of designing etc would be simple and development could be commenced. Once we paid the deposit though it was a completely different story. The 'manager' had no idea of what was previously discussed and it seemed as though these people were not even working in the same building. We went back and forth for well over a year and we had nothing which resembled a fully working site to spec.They constantly made excuses as to why what I was asking could not be done and I would constantly prove them wrong with some simple googling. They only have experience of creating basic sites for people who don't understand much at all. As soon as something they've not done before comes along, thats it they just refuse to do any work. Even with basic updates, you ask for it to be done and you get a response after weeks. When they finally fix one thing, they will break two other things which sets you back further.Account 'manager' is notoriously difficult to get hold of and has very limited knowledge. Everything you ask for has to be forwarded by them onto the 'technical team' who are most definitely not working in the same building. You will never speak to an actual coder.Eventually we gave up with them and started a site from scratch with another company. We're going to have to take them to court to reclaim the money back from them.Save yourself the hassle and ignore all the assurances the sweet talking sales department does. We actually got a phone call well into the project from another one of their reps trying to sell us a site - they had no clue we were already with them to whom we advised should stop trying to take on new jobs when they're unable to finish existing ones. The sales department is the only part of their company who works well. Everything beyond that is beyond a joke.

After several emails and phonecalls from Neoteric UK offereing to design and launch a website for me I decided to use them to build a website for my business.They promised me a complete working website in the time frames we discused as I had to have it for a trade show the following year.Months went by and they were hard to contact and the pages I was sent showing my website were copy and paste pages from something called wordpress, all in latin and of no relation to my product sector at all.The so called business manager handling my design was not even aware what my business did and the product was not fit for purpose at all.It was not ready when I was promised it by and as a result I missed having a sales platform for my once a year trade event and ended up going bust as i had orded several thousand items of extra stock for the show and had no way to sell it properly afterwards.I was told I could get a refund from the sales manager but then received an email from the owner saying that I could not have a refund due to all the work that had been done on my site.I showed the work to several website designers who I was passed onto by a local charity that I was treasurer for and they all said the work completed so far was very basic and would have only taken a small fraction of the time that Neoteric claimed had been spent on it.Avoid this company at all costs if you want a website that actually works and can be used by your business.
