What was the best part of the experience?
The onboarding was great and the staff was friendly and responsive at the beginning. However, things quickly took a turn for the worst once I became a paying client.
What would you change about the experience?
I would want a team that is more responsive, that focuses on setting goals of the client instead of pursuing their own agenda, stronger content, 500 words about a general topic with no keyword value doesn't help, and links boost my site instead deranking it. I would also like to not be charged when work isn't being done. There were a couple of weeks during the last month, which we ultimately canceled. It took too many back and forth calls to speak with the owner

Marketing Agency.io's tactics to gain traffic are so outdated it isn't funny. They write paper-thin content and purchase cheap low-quality links. To boot, most of there services are outsourced from other agencies. When I spoke with the owner, he didn't understand SEO in the slightest. He promised to get back to me with a resolution, weeks passed, and nothing happened. Avoid this agency at all costs. Any other firm would b much better. II ended up filing a chargeback for the incomplete work, and they contested it.
