I paid this company $2600 upfront for 12 months of optimizing my website and not only I did not get result but got my website out of the search engine ranking. I have no idea what these people at main street host did but all I know is they have done something illegal to cause this. When I first signed up with them, they promised the world. Not only they did not deliver any result, I now have to find out what they have done wrong and how to clear the reputation of my site. Apparently they use black hat link-exchange that violates Google guidelines and can get your site thrown into sandbox and removed from search engines.Every month they sent a standard email saying the same thing: “Just wanted to send over an email to you letting you know that I have conducted some maintenance on your website this afternoon. I looked over your current optimization, added a few links, as well as took a look at your traffic in Google Analytics.” I used them for 6 months and had to stop them from further destroying my online presence. After many emails and phone calls, I was able to talk to them twice and they refused to refund me for the remaining of the year. Main street host has destroyed my online reputation and presence. I have been searching the internet for any class action suit against Main Street Host to join.I have four words for those who are considering using them: Stay away from maintstreethost! Do not use their services if you care for your reputation not to mention your money.
