My move was fantastic, checkmate was not only fast, they took extra care with an heirloom record player my great grandmother left me. I wasn't even sure that thing could survive, but it did, and I couldn't be happier with the job they did. The movers were polite, professional, and efficient. If I ever move again I'll definitely hire them for a second time.

Checkmate movers did a good job loading and unloading everything fast and efficiently. However, unfortunately, there was a number of scratches left on the door and walls after the move. Hence the 4 stars.

I contacted lots of moving companies without a lot of responses or specifics. Jared call me right away and had me send him a detailed list of what was being moved. The 2 young men showed up right on time and the job was done in almost the exact amount of time Jared said it would take. I would HIGHLY recommend Checkmate Moving to anyone who needs a moving company. When we move again, we will for sure use them.

It was our first time hiring movers and I wouldn't do it any other way now. Checkmate did a great job. The crew was very polite and friendly and did everything quickly without grumbling, even in the hot weather. Wouldn't go anywhere else if I need movers again.

Checkmate Moving moved my 5 bed room family home 2 weeks ago. It was a big job with lots of heavy furniture (including 2 gun safes) and all the guys working were polite, energetic and completely competent. They were all respectful of our things, thoughtful about loading the trucks in a way that all of our furniture made it to the new house safely, and extremely courteous with me, my husband, and my In-Laws. The guys were even amazing patient with my 3 year old daughter, allowing her to tell them where to put her things and playing with her between bringing items in and out. Tom, the owner, personally supervised our job and I was continually impressed with his vigor and insistence to get things right. Jared, his son, came and did our pre-move estimate. Jared was very clear and helpful about what we needed to do to be ready and accurate about the amount of time it would take and what it would cost. Overall, our experience with Checkmate was one I'll never forget and I will absolutely use them again in the future. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for help in a move. They were worth every penny.

Second time using them & would do so again. All my furniture was well taken care of both times and the move went smoothly. First time I hired them to unload a pod and this time was house to house. Thanks!
