Five years ago, the Festival of Media was launched in Venice as a platform aimed at discussing, debating, and learning about one of the most ubiquitous, albeit important tools of our generation – the Media. It drew a global leadership of media conglomerates, agencies and the most innovative media owners and marketers who saw this as an opportunity to discuss the ever changing, dynamic field of media.
Over the years, the Festival of Media has firmly established itself as the premier media event to attend, where the who’s who of the media industry will be present. The impressive line up of Speakers each year is testimony to the scale and importance of the Festival.
Notable past speakers include communications pioneers such as Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia; Biz Stone, the founder of Twitter; Ben Silverman, President of NBC Universal and Jon Miller, President of Digital at News Corporation. Many of the world’s most influential CMOs at leading branded goods companies have spoken, as well as many unique individuals including the former President of Mexico, Vicente Fox and Viviane Reding, Commissioner at the European Union.

The inaugural Festival of Media Asia 2011 has been launched to address the unique issues and challenges faced in the Asian region.
